Once again, Ormskirk Comedy Club returns to their spiritual home The Chapel. This month sees them bring you three incredible acts.
Alex Boardman – Alex Boardman is now one of the most sought after acts in the country due to his ability to interact with any audience and to seemingly conjure something out of nothing. His free flowing style and natural charm breeze through in performances. His unique brand of “Flattery and abuse” is done with a lack of malice and a big sense of fun.
He was the warm-up act for An Evening with Eric Cantona at The London Palladium (2017) and The Lowry Salford (2017) and also for Paul Hollywood Bake Off Tour (2015) performing over 40 dates across theatres in the UK and Dublin.
Kevin Dewsbury – Kevin has been a regular fixture on the U.K. comedy circuit for over 15 years, honing his craft through repetitive gigging, developing innovative festival shows, writing and acting.Kevin is a comedian who delivers every time he performs and has supported acts such as Tim Vine, Lucy Porter and Robert Llewelyn (Kryten from Red Dwarf) on UK tours as well as gigging with a stream of household names in the U.K. and overseas
James Ellis – James was born and bred in Crawley. Yet somehow, he manages to remain upbeat. Writer for the Double Chortle Award winning night “GOAT Comedy”, and BBC’s “Newsjack” – he is being marked out as one to watch. South Coast Comedian of the Year 2021. Regional Finalist BBC New Comedy 2021.
