This workshop is perfect for beginner sewers of all ages and abilities or those with some sewing experience who want a cute little project to make a small mini bear cub in a colour of your choice.
The bear’s eyes use a very simple embroidery stitch called a French knot which can be tricky but you’ll learn the tips to make it easy and successful every time. You’ll also learn how to do whip stitch and get lots of hints and tips about how to successfully complete a small stuffed toy.
The mini bear cub is finished off with a very dapper bow tie which gives him an adorable look.
You’ll have a full size paper template to use and take home with you so that you can make the bear again at home.
This workshop will be lovely and relaxing and you’ll discover how simple hand sewing is. It’s a hobby that you can take up at very little cost which will benefit your well-being and mental health.
