Would you like to learn new skills and make something beautiful and useful? Join Little House of Victoria at Eden Tearoom & Galleries for a fun afternoon of embroidering a beautiful linen cushion.
Victoria will guide you through the basic stitches that are so easy to do with wool. This is achievable for complete beginners as you will learn one stitch at a time with beautiful pure wool threads. Advanced stitchers will also get a lot out of this unique way of stitching.
There will be a variety of themes to choose from, whether your taste is typically traditional or you prefer a modern Scandi hygge vibe.
The course costs £38 and includes all materials and a kit for you to take home, with some additional extras in there too, as it is an enhanced pack contained in a calico bag that you could also embroider. There will be beautiful quality linen panels and pure hand dyed wool threads, as well as embroidery needles and full printed instructions. In the 3 hours you will get quite a lot of the stitching done and every stitch will be demonstrated.
There will be plenty of time to practice the stitches and you will leave with confidence. Victoria will also equip you to finish the cushion at home with a simple blanket stitch and woven border stitch.
This workshop is suitable for beginners upwards. You will be guided through every stage.
Please note if you would like to use Eden’s tearoom it must be booked separately as Eden cannot guarantee there will be tables available on the day.
Organiser’s Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your place on a workshop:
If you tell us more than 4 weeks prior to the workshop date, you can transfer to another workshop, subject to availability and any balance due. Alternatively, you revert your booking to a credit that must be used within that calendar year. In both instances a 20% admin fee will be payable.
If you are unable to attend your course with less than 4 weeks’ notice, your payment is non-refundable and non-transferable. However . . .
If we manage to re-sell your place within 4 weeks of the course date, we will issue a credit of 80% of your course fee, that can be used towards another workshop taking place within a calendar year.
As always, the very best solution is to tell us as soon as possible, but also consider finding someone else to take your place. Just inform us of the name change before the day.
If we need to cancel a workshop:
We try hard not to disappoint people and make every effort to find replacement tutors but at short notice this is not always possible. Therefore, occasionally we need to cancel a workshop, due to circumstances beyond our control. If this happens:
We will always try to give you as much notice as possible.
You will be given the option to transfer to another workshop, subject to availability.
If an alternative is not possible then you will receive a full refund of any fees paid.
Please Note In order to protect both our customers and our business for the future and to keep things as fair as possible, it is necessary for us to strictly enforce our Cancellation Policy equally for all students, regardless of circumstances, even if these are out of your control.
We regret we are unable to refund travel or accommodation costs or any other consequential costs you may have incurred in booking your workshop.
