The Christmas Lights Switch On will see Ormskirk come alive with fun and free family entertainment on Sunday 20th November. The event begins at 12pm until 6pm.
Join headline act Fun time Frankies, the Rock Choir, Showbiz Academy for a day of on stage entertainment, as well as The Skelmersdale Prize Band who will be playing Christmas carols. Audience participation will be compulsory throughout the day and street entertainers the Acro Chaps will make sure of it!
The Chapel on St Helens Road will be home to Santa’s Grotto, a Christmas-themed market with street food offerings can be found on Moor Street and rides will be provided by Silcocks.
Indulge in some shopping with a host of fabulous street stalls purveying in delicious food and gifts, and visit Ormskirk’s permanent gems, the independent stores open in the town.
With parking free at Council Car Parks, and the train station just a stone’s throw from the magic there’s no reason to not Discover Ormskirk and West Lancashire this Christmas!
The Christmas lights switch on will be at 5pm by the Mayor of West Lancashire.
