This year the Rotary Club of Ormskirk are putting on a Father Christmas grotto in The Chapel in Ormskirk. This year, we are collecting for Derian House children’s Hospice and Community Lives Matter, a local charity in Ormskirk, providing help and support for people suffering from dementia.
We hope that people will be generous in their support and suggest a donation of £2.50 per child coming to see Father Christmas, though if anyone cannot afford this or wishes to donate more, any amount would be gratefully received. We have no admin costs and all donations will go to the nominated charities.
The Chapel cafe-bar will be open throughout both dates to serve festive refreshments such as mulled wine, speciality hot chocolates and coffees (with or without alcohol), and Mr Thompson’s gingerbread and cakes.
