Alpaca Experiences at Natterjack Alpacas
Natterjack Alpaca’s treks and experiences are the perfect and unique way to experience some quality interactions with alpacas, who have a natural desire to interact with people.
Natterjacks offer two types of alpaca walks;
- Trek: A 90 minute treks on lovely private track in open countryside. This is limited to over 16’s only and no more than six people.
- Experience: A 60 minute alpaca experiences that all ages can attend. This involves a short walk in the paddocks and the opportunity to hand feed and spend time with the alpacas. Limited to no more than eight people.

Martin Mere
Martin Mere is an 800 acre wetland nature reserved owned by the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust where wilderness and family-friendliness combine.
With peaceful wetland treasures and secluded spots, you can escape the everyday and discover more than 100 of the most eye-catching water birds from around the world. With wide-open spaces and wetlands full of the sights and sounds of nature, there’s plenty to see and do.
During a visit to Martin Mere, you can go on a wild walk adventure, build a den, get up close and personal hand feeding our birds, enjoy our outdoor adventure playground, brave the stepping stones. Or your can just enjoy watching the wildlife from one of their discovery hides and strolling amongst beautiful wildflowers, reeds and grasses in their Wild walk.

Cedar Farm
Cedar Farm is housed in thoughtfully renovated farm buildings, and home to a number of creative independent businesses and shops, all run by people with a real passion for their craft. You can browse and buy handmade crafts and design led goods, as well as partake in a variety of workshops and attend markets and events held throughout the year including;
Tapestry Loom Weaving – Using a wooden tapestry frame, this creative workshop allows you to explore tapestry weaving stitches such as Plain weave, Soumak, Slit weaving and Rya knot. This workshop is suitable for both Beginner and Intermediate levels and at both levels, you are guided through the weaving process with one-to-one tuition and group demonstrations by an experienced and qualified tutor.
Willow Hare Sculpture – Weave your own Willow Hare with Joe Gregory’s most popular sculpture course. Learn simple sculpture techniques to create a unique sculpture that has wonderful movement and form.
Ruskin Lace – Ruskin Lace is a needle made lace worked on linen fabric with linen thread, which originated in the Lake District in the 19th Century. It uses drawn thread, cut work and Needlepoint Lace techniques to create the geometric designs. The classes are suitable for both beginner and experienced workers.
