We were delighted to see The Secret Garden Glamping announced as a finalist in this year’s Be Inspired Business Awards (BIBAs) in the Leisure & Tourism Business of the Year and Start Up Business of the Year categories.
The BIBAs is Lancashire’s longest running, largest and most prestigious business awards ceremony, run by the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce. Established in 2008, the BIBAS now has 20 awards, involves over 80 judges, welcomes over 1,000 guests and is the ‘one they all want to win’.

The Secret Garden Glamping
The Secret Garden Glamping is a Multi Award winning glamping site set in 4 acres of land, with idyllic views and a private 2.5 acre woodland and is a true post-pandemic success story. Derry Green originally began building the handcrafted pods during the first lockdown in an attempt to entertain his children. Since then, he has hand crafted seven individually styled units. Not only has Secret Garden Glamping proved popular with customers (with no availability until March 2023) but it has also attracted interest from TV, being featured on programmes such as Hot Tubs Brits, Four in a Bed, and Celebs Go Dating.
This nomination is just the latest for the only 5 star Glamping site in the North West. They were recently winners of the Lancashire Business Champions award and the New Tourism Business Of The Year at the Lancashire Tourism Awards 2021.
